Quality is of utmost importance to us. This cutlery has been crafted with great care and precision from high-quality materials. Colored PVD cutlery (gold/champagne/copper/black) requires slightly different care than stainless steel cutlery without coating. Please note that the color may still fade over time, even when following the instructions below.Before first use, we recommend washing the cutlery carefully by hand. Handwashing is also recommended for regular use to preserve its color and shine as long as possible. Avoid contact with scouring pads, bleach, and soda. Rinse food residues immediately or wash the cutlery directly after use. Prolonged exposure to salt and food acids can cause damage. Do not soak the cutlery. After washing, dry with a soft cloth.Dishwasher: This cutlery is dishwasher safe if the following instructions are observed. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents, as these can damage the cutlery. Do not use soda and choose detergents with a phosphate content of 3% or lower. Wash cycles at 50°C or lower are recommended. Rinse food residues off before placing the cutlery in the dishwasher. Prolonged exposure to salt and acids (e.g., mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard) can damage the cutlery.To prevent contact corrosion, knives should be placed separately from forks and/or spoons in the cutlery basket or drawer. Contact corrosion occurs when different metals touch. Remove the cutlery from the dishwasher once the cycle is complete and dry it with a soft cloth to prevent stains. Water spots should also be wiped off to retain shine.
